Developing Biotech's Image
The WBMA is dedicated to developing the image of the biotech community so that it is recognized as Wisconsin's new economic force. Wisconsin has the educational, research and financial resources needed for biotech companies to grow. Our state has a diverse population offering a wide range of cultural experiences. We also have nearly boundless water and forest resources that offer world-class recreational opportunities. The WBMA is focused on helping the Third Coast become a world-class biotech center.

Increasing Biotech Research Funding
The WBMA is committed to maintaining and expanding state and federal biotech funding. Many scientific advances are simply not possible without research grants from state and federal agencies. The WBMA is committed to maintaining existing and identifying new government grant sources. The WBMA is the biotech business community's voice in these state and federal budget deliberations.
