A Germany-Wisconsin Exchange Program Exploring Energy, Transportation, Manufacturing and Higher Education Keys For Healthy Green Jobs Growth.
Germany, the economic powerhouse of Europe, is already well down the road
toward a green economic future using expertise and knowledge to produce
greater profits. Wisconsin, with its many cultural, higher education and political
ties to Germany - including a sister-state relationship with Hessen - has the opportunity to learn from the German experience in development of solar and biofuels power, high-speed rail, green manufacturing, green urban development and technical training.
